Four Falcons Selected to 2023 CSC Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. - The 2023 College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams were released Tuesday, Nov. 21, with Lauren Best, Elizabeth DeVecchi, Abby Tapanila, and Regan Schweitzer representing UW-River Falls.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically, have played in at least 90 percent of 2023 competition with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.

Regan Schweitzer, Elementary Education, 3.58 GPA (Jr., Franklin, Wis.)
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 19 (men) and December 20 (women). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
