MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 2, 2023, with Maddie McCollins representing UW-River Falls as the Women's Hockey Athlete of the Week.

A fifth-year senior forward from Maple Grove, Minn., McCollins  led the No. 3-ranked Falcons to a win over No. 8-ranked Adrian College on Thursday, Nov. 30, to help UW-River Falls remain undefeated at 9-0 overall, totaling six points off a goal and a career-high five assists, which both tied UWRF single-game records. Her goal stood as her team-leading ninth of the season, while she assisted on all three of UW-River Falls' power play goals, including the game-winner during the 7-5 win.

McCollins' honor marks UWRF's third conference weekly award this season, following Jordan O'Connor's weekly accolade (Oct. 30-Nov. 5) and her own from the week of Nov. 13-19. It also marks the fifth of McCollins' career.

No. 2-ranked UWRF (9-0, 3-0 WIAC) hosts top-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College tonight.
