- UWRF remained ranked No. 1 for the fourth consecutive USCHO Division III poll. The Falcons were previously ranked No. 2 for five consecutive weeks prior.
- UWRF was picked to finish first in the WIAC Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
MILLER BECOMES UWRF ALL-TIME SHUTOUTS LEADER
- Fifth-year senior goaltender Sami Miller earned her 16th career shutout during a 4-0 win over UW-Stevens Point on Nov. 11 at Hunt Arena, passing former All-American Angie Hall, who totaled 15 shutouts from 2014-18.
FALCON NOTES
- UWRFÂ extended its winning streak to 13 games last week, scoring 12 goals for a second-straight game with a 12-2 non-conference win over the College of Saint Benedict Feb. 7.
- The Falcons scored 12 goals for the second game in a row and for the third time this season as nine different Falcons found the back of the net, combining for 33 points. Alex Hantge (two goals, four assists) and Abigail Stow (two goals, three assists) led the way.
- UWRF is the national leader with 133 total goals scored, averaging 5.8 goals per game.
- The Falcons also lead DIII with 361 total team points and 228 assists.Â
- UWRF's power play is second-best nationally at 35.1 percent, scoring on 26 of 74 opportunities.
- Sami Miller ranks second nationally with a 0.929 winning percentage, owning a 13-1 record, including a pair of shutouts.
- Alex Hantge ranks third nationally with 24 assists, including seven in her last two games.
- Maddie McCollins is UWRF's leading scorer with 43 points off 23 goals and 20 assists. She ranks third in DIII with 1.87 points per game.
