RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The No. 1 ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team stayed undefeated with a 4-1 WIAC win over UW-Superior Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons scored a pair of goals in the first period.
Megan Goodreau scored first at 10:07 and
Holly Eckers followed it up with a power play goal at 15:05.
Bailey Olson scored a loan goal in the second period to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead.
Maddie McCollins scored the Falcons fourth and final goal in the third.
Superior broke up the shutout with a power play goal at 11:42 in the third period.
The Falcons went 1-for-2 on the power play and outshot the Yellowjackets 60-9.
Jordan O'Kane collected her fifth win of the season and had eight saves.
UWRF now 19-0 on the season and 7-0 in WIAC play travels to Northland College Jan. 26 to take on the LumberJills in a weekend series.
