The UW-River Falls women's tennis team is set to wrap its 2024 fall campaign this weekend, Oct. 26-27 at the WIAC Championship at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wis.
Competition begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
The 53rd gathering of league teams decides three sets of doubles winners, along with six singles champions, with competition beginning on Saturday. The team title will be determined by using a combination of the regular-season dual-meet standings and the WIAC championship results. The finish in the regular-season standings accounts for one-third of the criteria, while the conference championship accounts for the remaining two-thirds.
UWRF went 1-5 during league competition this fall to finish ahead of UW-Stout in the WIAC standings. The Falcons defeated the Blue Devils 7-2 on Sept. 29 in River Falls.
