FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons are ranked inside among the nation's top 15 for the second consecutive week, improving from No. 15 to No. 13 in this week's USCHO national poll.
- Last week, the Falcons traveled for the first time this season and suffered their first loss, falling 3-0 on Thursday at Saint John's. UWRF then bounced back with their first shutout win of the season, winning 1-0 at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota on Saturday. Freshman forward Alex Atwill scored his first goal as a Falcon for the game-winner and Brennan Boynton made 27 saves for his first career shutout.
- Goaltender Brennan Boynton has started in all five games and leads the WIAC with a .934 save percentage and 1.60 goals against per game. He made 25 saves in his UWRF debut against Saint John's on Nov. 2, and was named the WIAC Player of the Week.
- UWRF sophomore forward Jonny Meiers, last year's leading scorer, leads the Falcons with three goals through five games, which is tied for second-most so far in the WIAC.
- Junior forward Max Collette leads the Falcons with 23 shots on net, ranking second in the WIAC with 4.6 per game. He also leads the league with 76 faceoff wins.
