UWRF jumped out to an early lead as a
Braelyn Beiler triple gave the home team a 12-2 just under four minutes into regulation. The Falcons scored 20 points in the first quarter and another 25 in the second to lead 45-22 at the half, leading by as many as 23 after a Miron layup with under a minute before the break.
The Cobbers outscored the Falcons 21-15 in the third quarter to cut the UWRF lead to 17 heading into the final 10 minutes, but the Falcons didn't let their double-digit advantage slip away for the rest of the game.
Behind Buchan and Miron's 15 points each,
Olivia Hoerl added 13 points while sharing the team lead with Miron in rebounds with six each. Miron also had a career-high six assists.
