The UW-River Falls women's soccer team is set to compete in the first round of the 2024 WIAC Women's Soccer tournament, facing UW-Stevens Point on the road on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The Falcons entered the final day of the regular season one seed out of the conference tournament, but a resounding 4-0 victory over UW-Whitewater at Ramer Soccer Stadium on Nov. 2 clinched the postseason berth and moved UWRF into the No. 5 seed.
UWRF and UW-Stevens Point both enter the postseason with three conference wins. In the regular season matchup between the two teams on Oct. 12, the Falcons were victorious 2-1 behind goals from Ellie Ketcher and Macy Zins.

- The Falcons are making their first appearance in the WIAC Tournament since 2019.
- During the 2019 season, UWRF defeated UW-Eau Claire 2-1 in the first round before falling to UW-Whitewater in the semifinals.

- Coming off a four-point game with a goal and two assists against UW-Whitewater during the regular season finale, Madyson Shew is UWRF's leading scorer with 14 points (9th/WIAC).
- Shew ranks among the top-10 all-time at UWRF with 25 career goals.
- Goalkeeper Grace Zellmer recorded 10 saves against UW-Whitewater and tallied her sixth shutout of the season. Zellmer has now reached 102 saves this season, making her the first UWRF goalkeeper to eclipse 100 saves in a season since 2007.
- Zellmer's 14 career shutouts is third-most in UWRF history.
