The No. 1-ranked UWRF women's hockey team is set to face a pair of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opponents this weekend, hosting Augsburg University on Friday before traveling to Duluth, Minn., on Saturday to face the College of St. Scholastica.

FALCONÂ NOTES
- The Falcons are ranked No. 1 in both of the USCHO and DIII Hockey News preseason polls for the second consecutive week.
- UWRF opened its 2024-25 season last Saturday with an 8-2 win over Saint Benedict.
- Kennedi Bielenberg-Howarth and Sami Pool both scored their first goals as a Falcon. Five Falcons with multi-point games, featuring two-goal efforts by Ellie Brice and Katherine Bell and a three-point night (one goal, two assists) from Sami Pool in her first game as a Falcon.
- Megan Goodreau and Kaitlyn Ronn had two assists each.
- With the season-opening win over CSB, UWRF extended its winning streak to 32 games dating back to last season, breaking a NCAA Division III record for overall winning streak, besting Middlebury's record of 31 set from 2021-22.
