The No. 1-ranked UWRF women's hockey team returns to action this weekend with a non-conference road series at No. 4-ranked Adrian College Dec. 7-8.

AGAINST THE BULLDOGS
- This weekend's games will mark the 23rd and 24th all-time meeting between UW-River Falls and Adrian College, with the Falcons owning an 13-7-2 series lead.
- The Falcons and Bulldogs met twice last season, including a 3-2 UWRF victory in the NCAA Tournament Semifinals on March 15, 2024. The Falcons also prevailed in the regular season with a 7-5 win (11/30/23).
FALCONÂ NOTES
- The Falcons remain ranked No. 1 in both of the USCHO and DIII Hockey News national polls.
- UWRF is coming off an 11-2 win at St. Olaf College last Tuesday, Nov. 26.
- Eight different Falcons found the back of the net, led by a Katherine Bell hat trick - the second of her career. For her performance, she was awarded WIAC Player of the Week.
- Megan Goodreau had three points in the win to reach 100 career points.
- During UWRF's season-opening win over CSB, UWRF extended its winning streak to 32 games dating back to last season, breaking a NCAA Division III record for overall winning streak, besting Middlebury's record of 31 set from 2021-22.Â
- With the Nov. 15 draw against UW-Stevens Point, UWRF broke another Division III record for overall unbeaten streak at 36 consecutive games. The streak bests Plattsburgh State's unbeaten run from 2006-07.
- Megan Goodreau is UWRF's leading scorer with 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) and leads DIII with 2.25 points per game.
- Katherine Bell's nine goals leads the WIAC and ranks second in the country with 1.12 goals per game.
