MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 5-11, 2024, with Megan Goodreau representing UW-River Falls as the Women's Hockey Athlete of the Week.

Goodreau, a sophomore forward from Lino Lakes, Minn., totaled three points with two goals and an assist, including the overtime game-winner to lead the top-ranked Falcons to a 4-3 win over No. 6-ranked UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 7 at Hunt Arena. With the victory, the Falcons secured the WIAC regular season title.

The award is the second WIAC weekly accolade of Goodreau's career. It also marks UWRF's seventh conference Athlete of the Week award this season, following Madison Lavergne (Dec. 11-17), Alex Hantge (Dec. 4-10), Jordan O'Connor (Oct. 30-Nov. 5) and Maddie McCollins (Nov. 13-19, Nov. 27-Dec. 3, Jan. 8-14).

Top-ranked UWRF (24-0, 11-0 WIAC) closes out the regular season this Saturday at No. 6-ranked UW-Eau Claire.
