Women’s Soccer to face Central on the road

PELLA, Iowa — The UW-River Falls Women's Soccer team is set to travel to Pella, Iowa to face Central on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Falcons enter the game riding a four-game winning streak, outscoring their opponents 17-2 in that span. UWRF enters the game with a 5-1 record, the team's best start to a season since 2022.

  • The Falcons have scored four or more goals in the last three games, and are yet to allow more than two goals in a game.
  • UWRF has seen spread success across the roster in its recent contests. In each of the last three games, four or more players have scored goals.
  • The Falcons' most recent 4-2 victory over Bethany Lutheran included a comeback in which UWRF trailed 2-1 in the 55th minute. River Falls scored three goals in the final 22 minutes to complete the comeback efforts.
