The UW-River Falls women's soccer team continues its 2024 season with two nonconference matches this week. The Falcons will host Augsburg for the team's opening home match of the year, before traveling to face Crown College.

FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons opened the 2024 season with a 1-0 shutout victory on the road at St. Scholastica. Senior forward Aliviah McClinton scored the deciding goal in the 50th minute, while senior goalkeeper Grace Zellmer recorded a nine-save shutout.
- UWRF concluded last weekend's action with a 2-1 loss at UW-Superior. Sophomore forward Abby Drontle scored the Falcons' goal in the 45th minute, off an assist from senior defender Greta Van Guilder.
- McClinton and Emery Bigler lead the Falcons with six shots each so far this season. Lauren Best has recorded five.
- Sean McKuras leads UWRF in his 23rd season as the team's head coach.
