The UW-River Falls women's soccer team, with a 9-3 start to the season and 1-1 mark in WIAC play, has two key matchups this week. The Falcons will travel to face Hamline University on Wednesday, Oct. 8, before hosting UW-Platteville on Saturday, Oct. 11 for homecoming at Ramer Soccer Stadium.

THE SERIES
UWRF vs. Hamline: The Falcons will take on a familiar non-conference opponent in the Pipers. UWRF is 3-2-2 in the last seven meetings, with their last win coming in 2023. After a 0-0 draw in 2024, the Falcons aim to break through on the road. 

UWRF vs. UW-Platteville: In Saturday's matchup, the Falcon will look to bounce back against the Pioneers after a 0-1 result in 2024. With a 5-4-4 overall record, the Falcons will be looking for their first home win against the Pioneers since 2018.
