The No. 1-ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team is set to open its 2025-26 WIAC schedule by traveling to face UW-Stevens Point this Friday, Nov. 14. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at K.B. Willett Arena.

THE SERIES
- The Falcons lead the Pointers 55-28-9 in the all-time series, unbeaten against UWSP since 2016.
- Last season, UWRF went 2-0-1 in the season series against the Pointers, most recently earning a 9-3 win last February in Stevens Point.
FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons remain ranked No. 1 by USCHO and DIII Hockey News in this week's DIII women's hockey polls.
- UWRF is off to a 3-0 start to the season after wins last week over Saint Benedict, No. 2-ranked Augsburg, and St. Scholastica.
- The Falcons outscored their opponents 15-4, including a seven-goal output in the season opener at Saint Ben's, a shutout over Augsburg, and a comeback win over St. Scholastica.
- Through three games, senior co-captain Megan Goodreau led the Falcons with nine points off five goals and four assists, earning her fourth career WIAC Player of the Week award.
- Behind Goodreau, freshman forward Sophia Hess accumulated five points, including two goals in her Falcon debut at Saint Ben's.
- Senior goaltender Jordan O'Kane has started all three games in net with a .917 save percentage and 44 saves.
