COLFAX, Wis. - The UW-River Falls men's and women's cross country teams continued thee 2025 season Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Division III North Region Championships, competing in Colfax, Wis. at the Whitetail Golf Course, hosted by UW-Eau Claire.
The men placed 10th of 31 teams with 319 points (UWRF's best regional finish since 2009), while the women compiled 310 points to finish 12th as a team among 30 schools - the program's best regional finish since 2018.
MEN'S RECAP
Sophomore
Jack Richter again paced the Falcons, finishing 32
nd (25:38.8) overall to lead the men's 8K lineup and earn All-Region honors. He becomes UWRF's first men's All-Region runner since Daniel Borash in 2016. His run marked another front-pack effort following his top-25 WIAC finish.

WOMEN'S RECAP
Junior
Laina Viere powered the Falcon women once again, bringing back another top-20 finish, taking 17
th (22:31.6) overall on the 6K course, posting her second career All-Region finish after finishing in 32nd during her freshman year in 2023.
Sophomore
Adison Wilde delivered another top-50 performance, placing 49th (23:34.0) while
Jalyssa Groskreutz continued her rookie season with 68th (23:58.2).
