The UW-River Falls men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 2025 NCAA Division III North Regional Championships this Saturday, Nov. 15. Hosted by UW-Eau Claire at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis, the men's 8K race is scheduled for 12 p.m., followed by the women's 6K at 1 p.m.
Both teams enter the regional meet following their best WIAC Championship finishes since 2017, showing continued program growth heading into postseason competition.

FALCON NOTES
The Falcon men placed seventh at the WIAC Championships with 195 points, led by a tight scoring pack that all posted finishes within the program's all-time Top-20 list.
Jack Richter paced UWRF in 22nd place with a time of 24:58.6, followed by
Logan Munson (39th, 25:19.1),
Ryan Pierson (44th, 25:21.9),
Alex Pazdernik (56th, 25:36.0), and
Wyatt Johnson (64th, 25:49.3). The squad's performance marked one of the fastest team efforts in recent program history.
The Falcon women continued the program's strong day at the WIAC Championships, turning in their best team result since 2017 (4
th place) with all five scorers earning their spot on the Top-20 all-time 6k performance list.
UWRF's scoring five included
Laina Viere, finishing in 13
th place (21:53.6) for the Falcons followed by
Adison Wilde in 21st (22:12.9),
Emma Karnitz (33rd, 22:47.6),
Issabella Jeurissen (38th, 22:56.4), and
Jalyssa Groskreutz (41st, 23:01.8). Each runner recorded times that landed on the program's all-time Top-20 list, reflecting the team's competitiveness and depth entering postseason competition.
