Falcons Set for WIAC Cross Country Championships in Oshkosh

The UW-River Falls men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the 2025 WIAC Championships this Saturday, Nov. 1, hosted by UW-Oshkosh. The men's 8K race is scheduled for 12 p.m., followed by the women's 6K at 1 p.m.

The Falcons head into the conference championship meet looking to build on a fall season marked by continued improvement, multiple career bests, and growing depth across both rosters.

FALCON RUNNNERS TO WATCH
Adison Wilde (So.) has climbed UWRF's all-time list with standout performances like 6th at the River Town Invitational (23:36.7) and 7th at the Titan (22:42.7), solidifying her role as a key scorer for the Falcons this season. Laina Viere (Jr.) has been a top finisher with an 11th place finish at the River Town Invitational (24:22.6) and 16th at the Titan (23:34.4).

Logan Munson (Sr.) continues to anchor the men's lineup with strong results, like 12th at the Titan (25:59.8). Jack Richter (So.) has emerged as a top runner for the Falcons this season, placing 4th at the River Town Invitational (26:42.5) and 16th at the Titan Classic (26:08.3). Ryan Pierson (So.) has added depth with finishes like 6th at the River Town Invitational (26:49.6) and 15th at the Titan Classic (26:08.2). 

Following the conference championships, qualifying Falcons will advance to the NCAA North Regional on Saturday, Nov. 15, hosted at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis.
