The No. 1-ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team is set for three games this week, hosting St. Olaf College on Tuesday prior to heading to Middlebury College to compete in the Panther/Cardinal Classic in Middlebury, Vt.
UWRF last participated in the Panther/Cardinal Classic in 2022 on the campus of Plattsburgh State in Plattsburgh, N.Y., winning the tournament with victories over Plattsburgh State and Middlebury, including a 3-2 overtime win over reigning national champion Middlebury in the Championship game, the program's first time winning the Classic.
