NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Associated Press (AP) released its 2025 NCAA Division III AP All-America Football Team on Thursday, Dec. 18, with
Kaleb Blaha and
Gage Timm represent UW-River Falls.
Timm and Blaha were both selected to the First Team, along with Blaha named the AP Offensive Player of the Year. Blaha and Timm become the third and fourth AP All-Americans in UWRF history, following
Michael Brown in 2022 and Alex Klecker in 2023.
Also recently named AFCA All-Americans, Blaha and Timm are the WIAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, along with the D3football.com Region 6 Offensive & Defensive Players of the Year, leading UW-River Falls to its most successful season ever, recently earning a trip to the NCAA Division III Semifinals for the first time in program history.
Kaleb Blaha, a senior quarterback from Coon Rapids, Minn., has not only solidified his name atop the Falcon record books, but recently broke WIAC single-season records in pass completions and total offense yards. A semifinalist for the Gagliardi Trophy, awarded to the most outstanding player in NCAA Division III, he is the nation's leader in total offense with 401.5 yards per game and passing yards - a WIAC record total of 4,160 yards. In addition, he ranks among the top 10 national leaders with 27.5 pass completions per game, 35 passing touchdowns, 320 passing yards per game, and 23.1 points responsible for per game.
Gage Timm, a senior linebacker from Shawano, Wis., leads the Falcon defense that currently leads all of Division III with 36 turnovers gained and 26 interceptions. Timm is the team's leader 99 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks, and during conference play the led the WIAC with 12 tackles for loss (11 solo) and five sacks.
UWRF (12-1), coming off a 46-21 win over Wheaton College in the NCAA Quarterfinals, will host Johns Hopkins University this Saturday, Dec. 20 in the Semifinals.
