RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's tennis team opened its 2025 spring schedule with a decisive 7-0 win over Crown College Saturday afternoon inside Knowles Fieldhouse.
With the win, UWRF's 2024-25 overall record improves to 4-9 overall.
The Falcons controlled the match from the outset, sweeping all three doubles match to secure the opening point.
Chloe Struss and
Alexis Budzinski led the charge at No. 1 doubles with a 6-0 shutout, while the No. 2 and No. 3 pairs followed suit with convincing wins.
In singles action, UWRF continued its dominance, winning all six matches in straight sets. Budzinski and
Sarah Baker were particularly impressive, not dropping a single game in their victories.
