INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Former UW-River Falls football student-athlete Dylan Brown was extended a rookie minicamp invite by the National Football League's Indianapolis Colts.
The rookie mini-camp includes first-year players, draftees, undrafted free agents, tryout players and last season's practice squad players.
"We are all so proud of Dylan, nobody deserves this more than him," said head coach Matt Walker. "He has worked as hard as anyone I've ever coached, been an amazing leader, incredible teammate, and one of the best ambassadors of Falcon Football in our program's history. He loved being a Falcon and now we are all pulling for him in his next journey."
A native of Mequon, Wis., Brown appeared in 42 career games for the Falcons and was a four-time All-WIAC and two-time All-Region defensive back. He is the UW-River Falls all-time record holder with 44 career pass breakups and finished his career with 162 total tackles and four interceptions.
During his time as a Falcon from 2021-24, Brown helped lead UWRF to an overall record of 30-12 (17-11 WIAC), including back-to-back Isthmus Bowl titles in 2021 and 2022.
