ORLANDO, Fla. — The College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest announced its contest winners and full list of results for the 2024-25 edition of the contest on June 11, 2025, featuring UW-River Falls in the 'Photo of the Year' category.

College Sports Communicators (CSC) is a 4,400+ member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.

The photo, taken by UWRF Athletics student photographer and 2025 graduate Carly Lynch, captured UWRF Football's game-winning touchdown during a 40-37 overtime win over UW-Stout on Oct. 19, 2024 at Ramer Field. Running back Michael Krueger is seen embracing quarterback Cade Fitzgerald, who ran in the game-winning score in overtime to defeat the Blue Devils, rallying from a 21-point deficit at halftime.

Lynch's photo was ranked fourth among the 'Best of Division III'  and 20th in the College Division.
