THE SERIES
- Saturday's game marks the 68th all-time meeting between UW-River Falls and UW-Oshkosh, with the Falcons holding a 37-29-1 series lead.
- UWRF has won three of the last four matchups, including a 28-14 win last year in River Falls during the 2024 regular season finale.Â

- During last week's bye, UWRF improved from No. 12Â to No. 11Â in the D3football.com top 25 national poll, and moved up to No. 12 to No. 11Â in the AFCA Coaches' Poll. UWRF remained at No. 11/12 in the Week 4 rankings.
- The Falcons were tabbed to finish third in the 2025 WIAC Preseason Poll. UW-La Crosse is predicted to claim the conference title. The Eagles made their fourth consecutive NCAA appearance a year ago and enter this season ranked No. 10 by the AFCA.
LAST TIME OUT
- UWRF is coming off a 65-0 win at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss., wrapping up its non-conference schedule with a 3-0 record.
- The Falcons compiled 615 yards of total offense while holding Belhaven to just 123 total yards, including 35 rushing yards on 20 attempts. The UWRF defense also allowed only seven first downs and held the Blazers to 1-of-13 on third down conversions.
- The shutout victory was UWRF's largest since a 63-0 win at Elmhurst University in 2022.
FALCON NOTES
- UWRF owns the top offense in NCAA Division III with an average of 636.3 yards of total offense per game, ranking second with 56.3 points per game.
- In addition, the Falcons' 105 total first downs is the third most in the nation, and UWRF's 374.3 passing yards per game ranks sixth.
- Fifth-year senior quarterback Kaleb Blaha, a D3football.com Preseason First Team All-American, is a two-time WIAC Player of the Week this season and was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week (Sept. 8-14).
- Against Coe College, Blaha broke his own program record with 569 yards of total offense.Â
- Blaha is the DIII leader with 461 yards of total offense per game and 28 points responsible for per game.
- Senior linebacker Gage Timm leads the Falcons and ranks fifth in the WIAC with 22 total tackles.
