Jack Leifker – Men's Basketball (Sr., Blaine, Minn./Spring Lake Park)
Leifker led the Falcons to a 1-1 week, including a win at home over UW-Eau Claire on Wednesday in which he scored a career-high 31 points to eclipse 1,000 points in his career. Through two games against the Blugolds and nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh, Leifker averaged 26.5 points per game and shot 18-of-29 from the field (62.1%) and 17-of-20 at the free throw line while adding 16 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.
Jordan O'Kane – Women's Hockey (So., Alexandria, Minn./Alexandria)
O'Kane and the No. 1-ranked Falcons went 3-0 on the week, including a win over No. 8-ranked Gustavus Adolphus and a weekend sweep over UW-Superior. O'Kane made 38 saves with a 1.000 save percentage, shutting out Gustavus on Tuesday, Jan. 13 and UW-Superior on the road on Friday, Jan. 16 before playing 13 minutes in relief on Saturday, Jan. 17 to help sweep the Yellowjackets. O'Kane is tied for the WIAC-lead and ranks second in NCAA Division III with five shutouts on the season.
