The UW-River Falls Falcons open this week with a two-game slate, beginning on the road at UW-Stout on Wednesday night before returning home to host the UW-Whitewater Warhawks on Saturday evening.

THE SERIES

UW-River Falls leads the all-time series against the Blue Devils, but has dropped three straight meetings, including their most recent matchup, a narrow 81-82 loss last season in Menomonie. The Falcons are 4-6 over the last 10 matchups with the Blue Devils.

Against UW-Whitewater, UWRF holds a 36-71 all-time record. The Falcons and Warhawks have split the last 10 meetings, with UWRF earning a 72-66 home win in the most recent matchup in Don Page Arena.

UWRF is averaging 71.8 points per game, while holding a +3.9-rebounding margin, one of the strongest marks in the conference. The Falcons are shooting 44.2% from the field and averaging 38.3 rebounds per game.

Micah Thompson leads the team with 12.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, recording multiple double-doubles this season. Jack Leifker paces the Falcons in scoring at 14.2 points per game, while also pulling down 4.7 rebounds per contest. Jeremy Wanguhu is contributing 13.5 points per game and is shooting over 40% from three-point range.
