JANESVILLE, Wis. — The UW-River Falls men's hockey team wrapped up its 2025-26 regular season schedule with a 7-1 win at Beloit College Saturday evening.
The Falcons finish the regular season with a 13-11-1 overall overall record and 7-8 WIAC ledger, receiving the No. 3 seed for the WIAC Tournament/Commissioner's Cup. UWRF will travel to face No. 2 seed UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, Feb. 28.
UWRF controlled play throughout, outshooting Beloit 58-21 and converting three of eight power-play opportunities. Keenan Ingram recorded a hat-trick for the second consecutive game and Gavin Middenforf totaled six points with two goals and four assists.
The Falcons opened the scoring at 7:47 of the first period when Max Collette finished a pass from Middendorf and Alex Atwill. Hunter Jones extended the lead at 15:38, and Ingram added a power play goal at 19:53 to give UWRF a 3-0 advantage after one period.
Ingram struck again on the power play at 12:58 of the second to make it 4-0. Beloit broke through at 13:20 on a goal by Sky Solig, but the Falcons responded quickly. Middendorf converted on the power play at 14:32, and Ingram completed the hat trick at 16:36, sending UW-River Falls into the second intermission with a 6-1 lead.
Middendorf added his second goal of the night at 12:36 of the third period, finishing a play from Anthony Biniaris and Anthony Vidrick to cap the scoring.
In goal, Brennan Boynton made 20 saves to earn the win.
