The UW-River Falls men's basketball team will close out the 2025-26 regular season this week with a pair of WIAC matchups, beginning Wednesday night at home against UW-Stout at 7 p.m. inside Don Page Arena. The Falcons will then travel to UW-Whitewater on Saturday, Feb. 21 for a 5 p.m. tip to conclude conference play. Wednesday's matchup will serve as Senior Day for the Falcons, as

River Falls (8-15 overall, 3-9 WIAC) enters the week aiming to heat up heading into the final week of conference play after posting a top-25 win over UW-Stevens Point earlier this past week. The Falcons have battled through a challenging WIAC slate and will look to defend their home floor Wednesday before heading to Whitewater for the regular season finale.

THE SERIES
The Falcons hold a 20-13 advantage in the all-time series against UW-Stout dating back to 2010, including a 10-6 record at home. Stout enters Wednesday having won four straight in the series. Earlier this season, River Falls fell 81-61 in Menomonie. The Falcons stayed within striking distance early, tying the game in the second half before the Blue Devils pulled away towards the end of regulation.
Reggie Postel led UWRF with 21 points, while
Micah Thompson added 11 points and nine rebounds.Â
UW-Whitewater leads the all-time series 18-17 in a closely contested matchup since 2010. The Falcons are 9-9 at home and 8-9 on the road against the Warhawks. In the first meeting this season, River Falls led 32-31 at halftime before falling 67-59 inside Don Page Arena.
Jack Leifker finished with 11 points and eight rebounds, while
