WIAC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- UWRF finished with 21 points in the 2025-26 standings with a 7-8 league record to earn the No. 3 seed for the postseason tournament.
- Since the inception of the WIAC Commissioner's Cup in 2014, the Falcons hold a 12-20-3 playoff record.
- The Falcons are making their second consecutive appearance in the WIAC Tournament Championship game and fourth in program history.Â
- Last season, UWRF fell by a score of 2-0 in the championship game at UW-Eau Claire.
FALCON NOTES
- Last Saturday, Feb. 28 at UW-Eau Claire in a rematch of last year's WIAC Championship game, the Falcons defeated the Blugolds 4-1.
- Freshman forward Keenan Ingram, the WIAC's leading scorer, scored his NCAA Division III-leading 25th goal of the season last Saturday in Eau Claire.
- Ingram's 25 goals is the most in UWRF history since Brian Wilson also scored 25 in 1995, his nine power play goals is just two shy of breaking a UWRF single-season record, and his 42 points is the most since former Falcon All-American TJ Dahl tallied 43 points during the 2007-08 season.
- The Falcons rank 10th nationally and lead the WIAC with 23 power play goals with a .267 percentage, led by Ingram's nine power play goals (1st/WIAC).
- Five of the WIAC's top-seven scorers are Falcons, led by Ingram. Gavin Middendorf, Ben Portner, and Alex Atwill rank third through fifth, respectively, while Luke Margenau ranks seventh and is the top scoring defender in the league with 21 points and leads the conference with 67 blocked shots (2nd/NCAA).
- Atwill is the WIAC leader in assists with 22.
- Brennan Boynton has started in all but one game the season and leads the WIAC with 27.6 saves per game.
