Tyler Parker – Men's Track & Field (So., Wauwatosa, Wis.)
At the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Open on Friday, May 8, Parker delivered a standout performance in the 800-meter run, posting a personal-record time of 1:51.10, the second-fastest outdoor 800m time in UWRF history. His mark currently ranks 23rd nationally in NCAA Division III and fourth in the WIAC this season.
Lauryn Schutz – Women's Track & Field (So., St. Paul, Minn.)
Schutz rewrote the UWRF record book in the women's hammer throw, recording a toss of 53.55 meters (175-8) to place sixth in a field of 32 competitors at the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Open on Friday, May 8. Her mark surpassed the previous school record of 51.76 meters, set by Sarah Peterson in 1999. Schutz currently ranks fourth in the WIAC and 15th nationally in Division III this season.
