GREENWOOD, Ind. – The UW-River Falls women's hockey team placed two student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Team. Senior's Megan Goodreau and Jordan O'Kane each earned Second Team Academic All-America honors after excelling both on the ice and in the classroom. 

Goodreau becomes a two-time CSC Academic All-American after earning Third Team honors in 2024-25, while O'Kane collects her first Academic All-America honor. The duo helped lead the Falcons to their third consecutive NCAA Division III National Championship.

A finance major with a 3.68 cumulative GPA, Goodreau capped off one of the most decorated seasons in history by earning the 2026 Laura Hurd Award as NCAA Division III Women's Hockey National Player of the Year. She also garnered CCM/AHCA First Team All-American status, DIII Hockey News Player of the Year and First Team All-American, and WIAC Player of the Year honors. Goodreau tied an NCAA Division III record with 77 points on 37 goals and 40 assists, setting UW-River Falls and WIAC single-season records. She finished her career as the program's all-time leader in goals and points with 208 career points, becoming just the third player in NCAA Division III women's hockey history to eclipse the 200-point milestone.

O'Kane, a marketing communications major with a 3.58 cumulative GPA, earns her first CSC Academic All-America honor following an outstanding senior campaign. The senior goaltender was named a CCM/AHCA First Team All-American and DIII Hockey News Second Team All-American. O'Kane led Division III with a .963 winning percentage while ranking among the national leaders with eight shutouts. 

The Division III Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America® program.
