Falcons Fall 6-1 to UW-Eau Claire

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's tennis team opened their fall WIAC schedule with a 6-1 loss to UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, with Brooke Lindeman highlighting the afternoon with a victory at No. 1 singles. 

Lindeman battled through a three-set match against Magdalena Kristo, dropping the opening set before responding with a 6-3 victory in the second. In the tiebreaker, Lindeman prevailed going back-and-forth against Kristo, finishing with a 14-12 win, earning the Falcon's lone team point. 

Lindeman teamed up with Sydney Wiener for a win at No. 1 doubles. The Falcon duo defeated Reese Keller and Kristo 7-5.
