Biography

Katie Batters returns for her senior season with the Falcons and she is from Champlin, Minn. She is an aggressive forward with good skills and a scoring knack around the net. In high school, she was an all- conference player, team MVP, and team captain. She finished her senior year as the team’s leading scorer with 19 goals and 16 assists for 35 points. Batters was named to the second AHCA All-America team in 2012 after she led the Falcons in scoring with a team-best 19 goals and 32 points, and again in 2013 when she finished 21-10-31. She was also named to the All-NCHA teams in 2012 and 2013. She is the daughter of Pat and Jenny Batters, she has one brother, and she is majoring in health and human performance.
