Jake Litecky enters his fourth season as an assistant football coach at UW-River Falls, his first as the defensive run game coordinator. Litecky has also served as the specials teams coordinator since 2016.
Litecky has coached two linebackers to All-WIAC honors in two of his four seasons as an assistant coach at UW-River Falls. Litecky assisted in coordinating a front defensive half that led the WIAC in run defense in 2017 by only allowing 79.8 rushing yards a game and 2.7 yards per carry.
Litecky returned to UW-River Falls in 2016 after one season as a graduate assistant offensive line coach at UW-Whitewater.
Litecky also served as a student assistant football coach in 2014 working with the tight ends.
Litecky earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science at UW-River Falls. He went on to earn his masters degree in Higher Education and Leadership with emphasis in Athletic Administration.
Litecky played for the falcons as an offensive lineman from 2010-13 and earned All-WIAC honors as a senior.
