Biography

Ashley Kuechle returns for her finalseason for the Falcons and the goaltender is from Saskatoon, Sask. During her senior year she played for the Battleford AAA Sharks, where she was named her team’s MVP. She was also named the league’s Scholastic Player of the Year, top goaltender of the year and league MVP. After leaving high school, Kuechle attended Chatham College where she received a medical redshirt before transferring to UWRF. In 2013 she played in 14 games and finished 8-4-1 with a 1.77 goals against average and a .909 saves percentage. She recorded two shutouts. After the 2013 sason she was named to the NCHA All-Academic team and to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. In 2012  she played in nine games and had a 1.85 goals against average and a .930 saves percentage. She had a 6-1-2 record and recorded one shutout. She was also named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. She is the daughter of Claude and Patricia Kuechle, she has three brothers and she is majoring in health and human performance.
