Prior to UW-River Falls
Margaret (Pistol) Cowden joins the Falcons as a goalie from Amherst, Wisconsin where she played for the Wisconsin Valley Union high school team and Team Wisconsin.  Her senior year she had a save percentage of .934 and a goals against average of 2.0.  She received the Jessie Vetter Award for being the best Wisconsin girls high school hockey goalie.  She was also her team’s captain and was a finalist for Miss Hockey in Wisconsin and was named to the first team All-Conference and All State teams.  She is the daughter of Regina and John Cowden and she has one brother.  She is majoring in Agricultural Studies.
