Sophia Leong came to UWRF from Apple Valley, Minn., where she played for Apple Valley High School. As a senior, she played in 14 games and scored seven goals and added eight assists for 15 points. She was the three-time team captain, All Conference, and team MVP, and four-time defenseman of the year. She was also Academic All State, and a National Honor Society member. She is the daughter of Stacy and Larry Leong, and she has two brothers and one sister. She is majoring in Communications Science Disorders.
