The Falcon women's hockey team set a single game scoring record in its 12-0 win over Finlandia on Sunday afternoon at Hunt Arena.
The 12 goals eclipes the record of 11 goals set in the 2008-09 season in a game at Finlandia.UWRF scored four times in the first period, six in the second and two in the third to keep their season record perfect. The four first period goals came in a span of 4:10. The Falcons are now 20-0-3 overall and were ranked No.2 in last week's USCHO.com poll.
Breanne Hrabe (New Prague, MN, New Prague HS) led the Falcons with the three-goal hat trick - the first hat trick of her collegiate career. She now has 10 goals this year.
Kait Mason (Eagan, MN, Eagan HS) also had a great game with two goals and two assists for her first collegiate four-point game. One of her goals was a short-handed effort in the first period. She leads the team with 15 assists and 25 points.
Michelle Anez (Little Falls, MN, Alexandria HS) had a three point game with two goals and one assist. This was her first three-point game of her collegiate career.

Ashly Berner (Plymouth, MN, Armstrong HS) (1-1),
Brook Story (Warroad, MN, Warroad HS) (1-1) and
Lauren Conrad (Lino Lakes, MN, Centennial HS) (0-2) also had multiple point games.
Cassi Campbell (Anchorage, AK, Toronto Rattlers) started in goal but played just the first 4:49 of the game before
Shelby Rasmussen (Plymouth, MN, Wayzata HS) came entered the contest. Rasmussen finished with 12 saves and is now 2-0 this year.
The Falcons finished 2-4 on the power play while Finlandia was 0-4. Both teams were called for five minor penalties.
The Falcons, who have now won the NCHA regular season title for the third time in school history, are now 15-0-3 in NCHA play. UWRF has won four NCHA O'Brien Cup playoff titles, including the last two.
The Falcons will end their regular season next weekend with a NCHA series at Marian. Friday the two teams meet at 7 p.m., followed by Saturday's game at 2 p.m.
