The Falcon volleyball team lost a WIAC match at UW-La Crosse on Saturday afternoon, 3-1.

UWL won, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 to sweep the match. This was the last WIAC match of the season for the Falcons and they finish conference play with a 3-5 record and a seventh place finish.

Rebecca Gasper led the Falcon offensive attack with six kills. Jean Theis and Kayla Slaikeu had four kills each. UWRF had two aces and eight service errors. Defensively Brianna Muetzel led the Falcons with eight digs while Raven Kline had five. Kline led the Falcons with 11 assists and Alyssa Anderson had eight. Lisa Keppers led the Falcon defense with one solo and three block assists while Gasper had three block assists.

UWL was led by Crystal Zegler and Lauren Probst who each had 10 kills. UWL hit .333 in the match while the Falcons hit just .036.

The Falcons, now 16-12 overall, will next play at Carleton on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
