Men's Swimming & Diving Has Close Meet With Hamline

Pipers Win, 152-143

The UWRF men's swimming & diving team had a close meet with Hamline University on Saturday afternoon at the River Falls High School pool.

The Pipers won the meet by just nine points, 152-143.

Hamline took first place in nine events whiloe the Falcons finished first in seven.

The Falcon 200 medley relay team of Jon Danielson, Aaron Sova, Peter Brudzinski and #Lucas Patten took first with a time of 1:42.7.

Andrew Keller had a strong meet winning the 100 back in 58.14 and the 200 back in 2:07.54. David Zaske won the 100 breaststroke in 1:02.46, the 200 breaststroke in 2:19.69 and the 200 IM in 2:11.1. David Voller won first place in the 50 free in 22.81. Stefan Heyn took the top spot in the one-=meter diving event with 196.7 points

The Falcons will next compete at the WIAC Championships from Feb. 20-22 in Brown Deer, Wis.
