Box Score 4 CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (uwrfsports.com) - The Falcons (14-19) won three of their four matches this weekend ending with a great weekend at the Coe College Invitational.

The first match against Coe College was a nice win for the Falcons, 25-15, 25-18, 26-24; they came out strong and fought hard winning in three sets.

Rebecca Gasper took over the offense with 11 kills,
Molly Monahan ended with 10,
Amara Meyer with 9 kills.
Raven Klein led the first match with a nice high of 30 assists.
The defense was just as strong as the offense this match,
Amara Meyer ended with 7 blocks, Gasper with 6 and
Molly Monahan with 3 blocks.
Lexi Pingel landed 11 digs,
Brianna Muetzel with 10.

The second match of Friday night against Luther College was the only loss the Falcons had this weekend, 18-25, 25-27, 20-25.

Gasper again led the team offensively with 11 kills, Meyer with 8 and
Tayler Fertig with 6 kills. Klein pushed an even higher assist record of 33 this match.

Defensively,
Brianna Muetzel ended with 13 digs,
Lexi Pingel with 10. In blocks, Meyer landed 4, Gasper with 3 and Klein with 2.

Another big win for the Falcons was their first match Saturday against Buena Vista, 25-20, 14-25, 26-28, 25-22, 18-16, leading into a fifth set to break the tie.

Raven Klein ended this match with 52 assists,
Lexi Pingel with 2 and Gasper with 1.
Tayler Fertig finished this win with 15 kills, Gasper with 14 and Meyer with 12.

For the last match of the weekend the Falcons beat out U of Dubuque, 17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-16.

The Falcons get back to WIAC conference play as they travel to UW-Oshkosh Friday evening. Match time is set for 7 p.m. The Falcons will finish out the regular season Saturday at UW-Stevens Point. Â
