Karleigh Wolkerstorfer scored twice, Chloe Kinsel had a goal and an assist to set one record and tie another and goalie Angie Hall recorded her third straight shutout in the Falcon women's hockey team's 5-0 win at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon.

"We came out strong and had a really good first period," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. "It was a very physical second and third periods, and we had a hard time getting clean scoring chances."

Kinsel has now scored 20 goals this year and has 41 points. She has tied the single season goals record and now holds the single season points record. Ali Slinden (2002-03) and Kait Mason (2010-11) also scored 20 goals and Mason had the record for points in a season with 40, set in 2010-11.

The Falcons dominated the first period and led 5-0. UWRF outshot UWEC, 26-6, in the opening 20 minutes of play.

It was her eighth of the season. She was assisted by Emily Stark. Just 23 seconds after Kocina's goal the Falcons went on the power play and scored again. She was assisted by Moran and Dani Sibley and it was Wolkerstorfer's 11 goal of the year.
