RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) - UW-River Falls senior linebacker Albert Itula has been named WIAC defensive player of the week for football.

Itula led the UW-River Falls defense in a 50-28 victory over UW-Stout on Oct. 22. He had six total tackles, two tackles for a losses of 17 yards, a quarterback sack for  minus 15 yards, a quarterback hurry and an interception for a touchdown. Itula's interception return for a touchdown covered 30 yards to seal the victory in the fourth quarter.
