RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The #2 UW-River Falls women's hockey team picked up another win over the St. Thomas Tommies Saturday even at Hunt Area.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bella Wagner scored the first goal of the night on a power play opportunity in the second period on a pass from Dani Sibley and Amy Auran.
- The Tommies tied it up 55 seconds into the third period on an unassisted goal by Rachel Werdin.
- At 3:38, in the third period Carly Moran scored the game winning goal to give the Falcons the 2-1 victory. Assisting her on the goal was Paige Johnson and Hailey Herdine.
- The Falcons second goal was a power play goal that was made possible after Kathryn Larson was called for tripping.
- Angie Hall played 59:52 minutes for the Falcons and had a total of 14 saves.
- The Falcons had a total of 37 shots on net.
- Paige Johnson led the team with eight shots. Bella Wagner and Ashely Effertz each recorded 5 shots.
- The Falcons scored two power play goals out of eight chances.
THE OPPOSITION
- Goaltender Mackenzie Torpy had 35 saves on the night.
- The Tommies had a total of 15 shots on net. Becca Zarembinski led the team with four.
