RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The No. 10 UW-River Falls Falcons ran away with their sixth straight win over St. Thomas at Page Arena 71-57 Saturday afternoon.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons started the game with a 6-2 run before the Tommies tied it up with 16:24 remaining in the half.
- The rest of the half consisted of ten lead changes with each side getting five. The Falcons were on the positive end at the half with a four point run at the end to give them a 32-27 lead.
- Alex Herink and Clay Seifert were the leading scorers of the first half each accounting for seven points.
- The Flacons were a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe.
- UWRF would not trail in the second half, with the Tommies coming only as close as three points during the half.
- With six minutes remaining in the half, the Falcons went on a 15-5 run putting the team up by 19 points.
- In the second half, the Falcons scored 39 points compared to the Tommies 30 points. They shot 14-29 (48.3 percent) from the floor. Brennan Witt accounted for 11 of the points in the half. He was 4-4 from the floor and 3-5 from the free throw line.
IN-DEPTH LOOK
- Five Falcons had double digit point totals. Brennan Witt had a team high 15 points on 5-6 shooting from the floor. He was 5-7 from the charity stripe and added eight rebounds.
- Alex Herink scored 14 points and had eight rebounds. He was 5-9 from the floor and and 2-5 from beyond the arc.
- Austin Heidecker had a stellar night off the bench for UWRF. He scored 13 points on 5-9 shooting,
- Devin Buckley scored 12 points on 5-10 shooting and Clay Seifert had eleven points shooting two threes and going 3-4 from the free throw line. Seifert also added five rebounds.
- From the floor, UWRF was 26-63 (41.3 percent) and sank four three pointers in the contest. At the free throw line they were 15-19 (78.9 percent).
THE OPPOSITION
- The Tommies had three scorers in double-figures. Ryan Boll scored 15 on 7-16 shooting and had 10 rebounds for a double-double.
- Tyler Potts came off the bench for eleven points and Steffan Musoke had ten points on 3-5 shooting.
- St. Thomas was 21-67 (31.3 percent) from the field. They made six of their 35 three point shot attempts. Overall they were 9-12 from the charity stripe.
