Location: Karges Center, River Falls, Wisconsin
Record: UWRF: 19-2 (9-1 WIAC), UW-Oshkosh 13-8 (6-4 WIAC)

WHAT HAPPENED
  • It took the Falcons worst shooting night of the season to earn their first WIAC loss. The Falcons shot 19-53 (35.8 percent) from the field. The Falcons did not make a field goal in the final 7:54 in the first half.
  • Early on the Falcons and Titans exchanged buckets, at 15:20, the game was tied 11-11.
  • Neither team led by more than three points until 10:29 to go in the first half when UW-Oshkosh connected on one of their three first half three pointers.
  • In the final 10:29 the Falcons made just two shots from the floor, with the other five coming from the free throw line. Despite the drought, the Falcons trailed by just five at the halftime break.
  • Clay Seifert nailed a three pointer to open the second half for the Falcons, breaking the field goal drought.
  • With the monkey off the Falcons offensive back, the Falcons would go on a 10-2 run and led by five points, their largest of the game, with 16:33 to go.
  • The Titans scored the next five points to tie the game back up, and for the next six minutes, neither team could separate with the game within three points the entire time.
  • Getting some breathing room, the Titans scored seven of nine points to build a five point lead with 9:23 to go.
  • As they have all year, the Falcons responded. They scored six straight points to take back the lead. Matt Keller and Seifert combined for five of those points.
  • Down the stretch, the Falcons matched every shot the Titans made, and with 48 seconds remaining, the game was tied at 60.
  • Brett Wittchow, who shot 8-10 for the Titans, connected on a layup on the next possession, and Grant Erickson couldn't make his layup, and the Titans made enough free throws to escape with the victory.
