HOW IT HAPPENED
- 8:39 into overtime, Carly Moran scored her second goal of the game on a beautiful cross ice pass from Dani Sibley. Moran finished right in front of the net, and the Falcons celebrated their fourth straight conference tournament championship.

- Facing a first period deficit, the Falcons came in to the second period flying. The Falcons had one power play opportunity, but the three shots on goal couldn't find the back of the net. UWRF posted 14 shots on goal in the second period, but Erin Conolly of UW-Eau Claire shut the Falcons down stopping all 14.
- Angie Hall of UWRF was able to keep Eau Claire out of the net in the second period as well. She stopped eight Blugold shots on goal and kept the Falcons in striking distance after two periods of play.
- It took just 2:57 of time in the third period for the host Falcons to tie the game up. Moran was the Falcon to put the Falcons on the board with her goal assisted by Sibley and Hailey Herdine.
- The Falcons had an opportunity on the power play just two minutes later, but with no shots on net, the Blugolds were able to kill the penalty.
- UW-Eau Claire was able to regain the lead on their second power play goal. The Falcons were able to successfully kill a 5-3 advantage for Eau Claire, but the Blugolds finally lit the lamp with the 5-4 advantage at 11:10 in the third period.
- After being in the box for the power play goal, Carina Randazzo was able to avenge that with a goal of her own to tie the game at 17:08. Her goal was assisted by Lydia Wagner and Dani Sibley.
- In overtime, UWRF was able to outshoot the Blugolds 5-3, and the fifth shot by Moran was the one to make the Falcons champions once again.
