  • 41 seconds later Joe Drapluk would skate in on the wing, and after putting a move on the defenseman, snapped a shot over Andrew Rohkohl's left shoulder for the 2-0 lead.
  • Late in the 1st period, and continuing into the early 2nd period, St. Thomas peppered Zach Quinn with multiple shots, but Quinn stopped them all.
  • Halfway through the 2nd period, Thomas Clayton was able to get behind the St. Thomas defense, and lift a shot over Andrew Rohkohl for his 3rd of the season, and a Falcons lead 3-0.
  • The 3rd period saw the Tommies finally being able to put one past Zach Quinn at the 2:39 mark. Ben Jentsch scored to pull the Tommies within 2 at 3-1.
  • The Tommies kept the pressure on, and it resulted in a 5 on 3 power play advantage. Brian LeBlanc scored on the power play to cut the Falcons' lead to 1 at 3-2..
  • Goaltender Zach Quinn made multiple great saves down the stretch and the Falcon defense blocked numerous shots late to preserve the 3-2 victory. Quinn made 36 saves on the night to get the win for the Falcons.
