RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsport.com) – After a 5-4 win the night, before the UW-River Falls men's hockey team ties Concordia College (Minn.) 1-1 in overtime Saturday night at Hunt Arena.

THE RECAP
First Period
- The Falcons got their first power play opportunity of the night at 1:32 when the Cobbers were called for too many players on the ice. The Cobbers were able to hold the Falcons to no shots during the two minutes.
- At 11:51, Tyler Bosset was called two minutes for hooking and the Falcons got their second power play opportunity. Eddie Matsushima applied the offensive pressure but was unable to get one of his three shots on goal past goaltender Cam Haugenoe. The Falcons remained scoreless after two power play opportunities.
- At the end of the first period, the two teams were tied 0-0. The Falcons outshot the Cobber 12-10.
Second Period
- The Cobbers got their first power play opportunity at 2:32 when Tom Reilly was called for interference. They put two shots on goal but were unable to capitalize on the opportunity.
- At 6:10, Concordia struck first scoring a goal by Kyle Siemers. He was assisted on the play by Jake Ellingson.
- Less than two minutes later Joe Drapluk tied it up 1-1. He was assisted on the play by Blake Anderson and Tom Reilly.
- At 13:59, Blake Anderson was given a five minute major and a game misconduct for contact to the head. This gave the Cobbers the extended power play but Aaron Herdt evened it up when he was given a major and a game misconduct at 17:32.

- The Falcons started the third period with the power play from the previous period still on. Four different Falcons got the puck on goal but none were able to find the back of the net.
