RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team was shutout Friday night at Lawrence University. The Vikings beat the Falcons 3-0.
Lawrence got on the board first in the second period after a scoreless first period. Stephen Zabrowski scored at 17:14. The Vikings scored again the third period at 9:58.
The Falcons pulled goaltender
Zach Quinn in the final minutes of the third period to give them the extra attacker. Lawrence got the puck from the Falcons and found the back of the empty net to score their final goal.
Quinn made 31 saves in goal for the Falcons.
The Falcons who are now 4-4-3 on the season finish out their weekend series against Lawrence Saturday night at 4 p.m.
